Editors and IDEs
Use Assumer from your editor through the Agent Client Protocol, for example in Zed, or run it in your editor's integrated terminal alongside your code.
Agent Client Protocol (ACP)
Assumer speaks the Agent Client Protocol, an open standard that lets editors talk to coding agents. Editors with ACP support, such as Zed, can run Assumer as their agent:
assumer acp
Add Assumer as a custom agent in your editor’s agent settings, using assumer acp as the command.
Integrated terminal
Any editor works with Assumer through its integrated terminal: VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, Neovim and others. Open the terminal in your project folder and run assumer. Edits appear in your editor as the agent saves them.
Write prompts in your editor
For long prompts, /editor opens your $EDITOR so you can write the request with full editing support.
