Windows
Install and run Assumer on Windows. Native builds for x64 and ARM, setting up Git Bash for shell commands, and when to use WSL instead.
Assumer has native Windows builds for x64 and ARM. Install with npm (or pnpm or bun):
npm i -g @4born-solutions/assumer
assumer login
Then open a project folder in your terminal (Windows Terminal is recommended) and run assumer.
Shell commands
Install Git for Windows so Assumer has a Bash shell to run commands such as tests and builds. If Assumer can’t find Git Bash, point it at the executable:
setx ASSUMER_GIT_BASH_PATH "C:\Program Files\Git\bin\bash.exe"
WSL
If your code and tools live inside WSL, install and run Assumer inside your WSL distribution instead. It behaves exactly like on Linux.
Desktop app
The desktop app for Windows is in early access. See Download.
